Commemorative Concert for Dominik Brunner

In September 2009, Dominik Brunner was a victim of a violent crime in the S-Bahn station in Solln near Munich, after he tried to protect four threatened children from attack. On the occasion of the first anniversary of his death, the Dominik Brunner Foundation, with the support of the Cultural Affairs Department of the Provincial Capital of Munich and Stadtsparkasse München, organized a benefit concert at the Philharmonic Hall Gasteig in Munich on Saturday September 25, 2010.

Munich Bach Choir performed in Rome

On April 7, 2010, the Munich Bach Choir, together with the Bach Collegium München performed Mozart's Great Mass in C-Minor at the Basilica di Santa Maria Maggiore in Rome, Italy, under the direction of Hansjörg Albrecht. The concert, organised by the German Embassy in Italy in cooperation with the European foundation "Europamusicale" and others, was dedicated to the memory of the victims of the earthquake in the the Italian mountain village of Onna.
